Pelican Island Audubon Society library open for member use.

The library is located in the Pelican Island Audubon Society office at 1931 14th Avenue in downtown Vero Beach. Regular office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.

The Pelican Island Audubon Society library has over 1,500 books and videos about birds, beasts, botany, ecology, nature study, water resources and more.
Most books are oldies but goodies and have been generously given by members. Many are classics in their fields and are well worth a read. Books may be borrowed by PIAS members or used for research in the PIAS office.
Four members of PIAS, (left to right in image) Tina Marchese, Roberta Cannon and Judy and Bob Treloar, meet weekly to catalog, cover, and shelve these hidden treasures. The library staff hopes you'll come in, browse, borrow, and enjoy some of these volumes---and new donations, in good condition, are always welcome.
