The Pelican Island Audubon Society enjoyed a guided bus tour of Adams Ranch on Saturday, January 21, 2006. The ranch has grown to one of the largest in the United States since its beginning in 1937. The ranch is also noted for its land management and conservation methods which give priority to the natural plants and wildlife of the area. |
