The Pelican Island Audubon Society in partnership with Keep Indian River Beautiful organized the 2005 Florida Coastal Cleanup to clean the beaches of Indian River County on September 17, 2005. A large enthusiastic turnout of high school students were lined up by 8:00am to check in and start cleaning Vero's South Beach. |
